Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF)

SAF for the Aviation Industry

Our landmark SAF facility is designed to be the antidote to the risks that have challenged the advanced biofuels industry, creating a new, more resilient blueprint for SAF development.

Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF)

Production Volume

The facility will produce 76 million gallons per year (5,000 barrels per day) of high-quality, ASTM-certified SAF.

Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF)

Unmatched Logistics

Also located on the Texas Gulf Coast, the facility benefits from deepwater port access for export and robust rail connectivity. Critically, it has direct access to the nation's most important refined product pipeline networks—the Colonial and Explorer pipelines—enabling efficient supply to both international and domestic markets.

Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF)

Guaranteed Performance

The project employs a suite of world-class, commercially proven Gas-to-Liquids (GTL) technologies under a single-point license from industry leader Topsoe. This suite, which includes Topsoe SynCOR™ and Topsoe Hydroprocessing, eliminates technology risk and comes with robust, bankable performance guarantees.

Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF)

Feedstock Certainty

Like our methanol project, the SAF facility's renewable and traditional natural gas feedstock is fully secured under a long-term, fixed-price contract, insulating the project from the market and feedstock volatility that plagues other SAF production pathways.

Our facilities will convert billions of BTUs of domestic renewable natural gas and natural gas feedstock into SAF, Low Carbon Aviation Fuel (LCAF), and other light products annually. Using captured biogas feedstock and 100% renewable power will result in substantial CO2 savings annually while creating thousands of clean energy jobs and adding billions to the regional economy.
