Throughout his career in large scale process and project development and construction Hal Bouknight has excelled at putting together teams of mission driven engineers and technicians who use new technologies to solve old problems.
Prior to joining Nacero, Mr. Bouknight was SVP and a member of the management committee at IHI E&C Int’l Corp., where he led the development of over $5BN of EPC contracts in the LNG sector and built a substantial pipeline of other EPC opportunities for natural gas monetization in the LNG, NGL, and GTL sectors. As President and COO of Global Project Solutions, he led the early development (financed by the Chinese EX/IM Bank), of a 100,000 barrel per day refinery in West Africa for the African NOC, the Chinese NOC, and Sinopec.
Mr. Bouknight spent more than 20 years at the outset of his career at Union Carbide and Fluor Corporation in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries where he successfully brought difficult projects to fruition in some of the most challenging environments in the world. During those years Mr. Bouknight developed the relationships and following in the engineering and construction community that made it possible for him to assemble Nacero’s world class team of engineers and managers.
Mr. Bouknight holds BS and MS Degrees in Chemical Engineering from Clemson University and West Virginia University’s College of Graduate Studies respectively and is a licensed Professional Engineer.
